Johnny graduated from the Vet Tech Institute at Fox College in Tinley Park, IL in 2014. He is originally from Phoenix, AZ and spent time in Illinois and San Antonio, TX before setting his sights on Portland, which he now calls home. Johnny loves to travel and is planning several international trips that include Costa Rica, Peru, Greece, and Ireland. He is also looking forward to exploring Oregon and seeing the coast for the first time. Johnny is not only the Practice Manager overseeing the large client base and the hospital's daily operations, but he is also Pacific Veterinary Hospital's only Certified Veterinary Technician. He loves building and strengthening relationships with our pet parents and is exceptional at bonding with our furry (and not so furry) pet patients.

Johnny is a creative soul that loves painting, writing poetry, upcycling used furniture. and meditation. He loves to cook, clean and is constantly reorganizing both his personal and business environments. He enjoys karaoke and loud music and is occasionally caught breaking into song and dance without a moment's notice. Johnny is an advocate for mental health awareness and a huge ally to the LGBTQ+ community. He hopes that Pacific Veterinary Hospital will be able to strengthen relationships in these areas all across the Pacific Northwest.
